Dr. Stuart Shipe
Doctor Stuart Shipe graduated from North Dakota State University College of Pharmacy and has practiced as a pharmacist in various clinical, consulting, and retail practice settings around Florida. He has a certification in Western herbal medicine from the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy, is a registered herbalist with the American Herbalists Guild, and has completed post-graduate education in phytotherapy from the Australian College of Phytotherapy in Warwick Queensland.
In 2002, Dr. Shipe graduated as an acupuncture physician from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine in Orlando. He completed postgraduate residency training at the International School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing, China, and the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shanghai. Dr. Shipe received diplomate training in clinical nutrition certified through the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon.
He is nationally board-certified as an acupuncture physician and Chinese herbalist practicing primary care medicine with specialties in geriatrics and women’s health at his office in Stuart, Florida using integrative medicine principles. He is the host of a weekly talk radio show on Florida’s Treasure Coast called “A Better Way to Health,” educating the public on natural medicine. He also lectures for two international companies as a consultant on nutrition therapy and practice management for natural health practitioners.
To further his purpose of supporting pharmacists in expanding their potential, he routinely provides continuing education lectures on natural medicine and serves as an assistant professor at NOVA Southeastern University College of Pharmacy in Davie, Florida for the experiential Eastern / Western herbal externship program.
Dr. SANDY JIN
Dr. Sandy Jin was born in Beijing, China, and is a graduate of the
University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing. She has a Master of Science Degree in Oriental Medicine from Samra University of Oriental Medicine, Los Angeles, California, one of the most recognized acupuncture universities in the United States. Sandy, completed her training with internships at the Advanced Traditional Chinese Medicine Institute and China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine’s hospital in Beijing, China.
Sandy has more than nineteen years of experience in Chinese Medicine, with a special interest in Acupuncture and Chinese herbs. Her experience includes five years in Beijing, ten years in her private clinic in Pasadena, California, and the past four years with cruise lines. Her specialties in Acupuncture are concentrated in the treatment of women’s health, acute & chronic pain, arthritis, sciatica, digestive problems, and weight loss.
Sandy is certified by the Florida & California Boards of Acupuncture, is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and is a member of The Foundation for Wellness Professionals, North American Oriental Medicine Academy, and the California Acupuncture Medical Association.
Sandy's passion is driven by the bonds she builds with her patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment she holds in keeping them healthy and well.
